You ship something, and then the real work starts: screen-record it, cut it in CapCut, hunt for a track that will not get copyright-flagged, time the captions, export. A couple of hours per post, or a monthly subscription to a template tool. /brag does it from inside the project — it reads your files to work out what the thing actually is, writes a scene-by-scene storyboard before rendering anything, then hands back a finished MP4 with music, motion and sound effects, plus the caption copy to post with it. Vertical for Reels, landscape for X, and you can steer the tone in plain English. Free and MIT-licensed.

What's inside

  • Every install command in order — Homebrew, Node, FFmpeg, Claude Code, then the plugin
  • Needs a paid Claude plan and macOS 13+ — how to check both before you start
  • Steering it: tone in plain English, --format vertical for Reels, --voice for voiceover
  • Nothing renders? The one doctor command that tells you which piece is missing
