Answering "how did this month go?" usually means exporting numbers and building a chart in a spreadsheet, every time. Claude Dashboards is a new feature from Anthropic: you connect the place where your numbers live, ask a question in plain words, and Claude builds a page of charts that answers it — and the charts refresh when the numbers behind them change. This covers the five steps, how to ask for changes, three questions to copy, and the limits to know first: it needs your data connected, it is for exploring rather than your accounts, and it can be wrong. It is honest about its sources too: the facts come from published coverage of the launch, not from hands-on use.
