A short animated announcement normally means briefing a designer and waiting days, or learning an animation app yourself. Claude Motion is a new feature from Anthropic: you describe a short video in plain words, hand it your logo and material, and Claude builds the animation for you to download as a normal video file. The first version takes one message, and each change takes one more. This covers the five steps, how to ask for fixes, three prompts to copy, and the limits to know first — no sound, no real footage or people, and short by design. It is honest about its sources too: the facts come from published coverage of the launch, not from hands-on use.
What's inside
- Which plans have it: Team yes, Enterprise if switched on, Free, Pro and Max not yet
- The five steps, from the first message to exporting an MP4
- How to ask for fixes: too fast, a wrong number, too long, the look is off
- Three prompts to copy — a launch, an animated chart, and a how-it-works
