Start Building Your Own Jarvis — The Foundation in Four Steps

One AI that knows your business, has jobs it is good at, and listens when you talk. Four parts set up one at a time — an engine, a memory, skills and a voice — with Claude Code, Obsidian and Wispr Flow.

Stuck on a step? Ask in the community

Most people use AI as a chat window: open it, explain everything, get an answer, close it. This setup turns it into something closer to an operating system for your business. Claude Code is the engine. One folder of notes, opened in Obsidian, is the memory — your offers, customers, voice and goals, written from an interview so you never retype them. Skills are small instruction files Claude writes for you, one per job, so "plan my day" already knows how you like it done. And Wispr Flow lets you say it out loud instead of typing. The guide is honest about the limit: this is the foundation, not the finished Jarvis — it answers when you ask, and does not yet run on its own.

What's inside

  • The interview prompt that writes your business notes, with TODO where something is missing
  • Your first skill, plan-day, in one paste — then two more for your numbers and your inbox
  • Talking to it with Wispr Flow: the key to hold, and the two permissions it asks for
  • What it cannot do yet, and the next steps: connectors and scheduled jobs
